It has been decreed that there shall be combat. Combat Archery, Youth Combat, and both Heavy and Rapier Combat. This year the Forest Maiden will be sought beneath huge cedars, palms and stripes of desert tents. The smell of spices and a Middle Eastern feast waft through the air. Bards will tell us of this place and samples of the Arts & Sciences will be on view. The Forest Maiden Tourney will be heavy weapons, Double Elimination, Best 2 of 3, Alternating Weapons Styles. Each fighter and consort shall present themselves and the fighter's List Tree Shield to the list mistress, proudly display their heraldry and be acknowledged to the assembled Galleries. The consort of the winning fighter will be crowned Forest Maiden. |
